Rental rules
Basic principles of equipment rental at Ramirent rental companies:
- The equipment is rented for months; the rental prices presented on the website are monthly rates; when using the equipment for an incomplete month, the rate is calculated on the basis of 1/30 of the rental price for each day, including public holidays.
- Prices may be negotiated.
- Each offer is prepared individually, based on the customer's expectations.
- We only rent equipment with assembly and disassembly services performed by authorised RAMIRENT employees or subcontractors .
- The rental charge begins on the day the assembled equipment is accepted by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT).
- All equipment has the documents required by law allowing it to be used.
- All employees and subcontractors have the relevant and required authorisations to install, repair and maintain the equipment.
- The lessor is obliged to provide appropriately trained and authorised personnel to operate the rented equipment.
- There is a possibility of fleet rental (larger number of devices, longer periods). In this case, the rental conditions are negotiated individually. - Detailed terms and conditions are governed by the rental agreement.
- Ramirent may charge a deposit as security for the rental transaction and the value of the equipment. The amount of the deposit is agreed with the customer prior to the rental. Payment of the agreed deposit takes place on the basis of the concluded agreement or order placed and accepted by Ramirent, to a bank account or to Ramirent's cash desk and is a condition for the release of the equipment, Under certain conditions the Client may be required to submit a bill of exchange.
- The rental offer includes additional services: technical advice, transport of the equipment to the construction site and servicing.
- Documents required for the first rental:
General partnerships, Ltd:
- All documents will be collected by an employee of Ramirent (registration documents: REGON, KRS)
Budgetary units:
- All documents will be collected by Ramirent's employee (registration documents: REGON, KRS)
- Order signed by the head of the budgetary unit
NOTES:
Authorisation to remove equipment signed by the head of the budgetary unit
Sole traders, civil partnerships:
- Identity card of the owner/shareholder
- Additionally, for equipment above PLN 20,000: Social Security certificate or statement on the payment of
- Social Security contributions (commitment to submit the certificate within 7 working days)
- Civil partnership agreement
- All documents will be collected by Ramirent's employee (registration documents: REGON, extract from the register of economic activity of all partners)
NOTES:
First rental by owner only.
Individuals (it is possible to hire a machine up to 100,000 zł):
- A photographic document proving your PESEL
- A second proof of identity with a photograph or a credit card is available for inspection.
NOTES:
Hire in person only.
Foreign entities:
Registration documents - entry in the register/registry and a document confirming the assignment of a tax number. Rental documents may be signed in accordance with the provisions on representation in the registration documents.
Basic principles of equipment rental at Ramirent construction equipment rental companies:
- Equipment at Ramirent is rented for a fixed or indefinite period of time, defined by the relevant time unit, which is a day, a week or a month. General construction equipment, lifting platforms and scaffolding are rented by the day. Passenger cranes, goods hoists and containers are hired for months.
- Rental of equipment in Ramirent is based on the current price list available on the website and in all Ramirent SA rental centres.
- Some equipment has a specific hourly operating limit. In this case, each additional hour of work is charged according to the price list valid in Ramirent.
- There is no charge for Sundays and public holidays. This does not apply to equipment such as scaffolding, containers and cranes or other equipment which is used by the client on these days or as stated in the contract.
- Prices may be negotiated.

- Rental of machinery and equipment is based on T&C (construction equipment, lifting platforms), T&C (scaffolding), T&C (containers) binding in Ramirent. These terms and conditions are available on the website and in all Ramirent rentals.
- Detailed rental conditions are regulated by contract and order or commission.
- Ramirent's rental offer may include additional services: technical advice, transport of equipment, servicing, machine washing, assembly and disassembly, cleaning and security.
- Ramirent may charge a deposit as security for the rental transaction and the value of the equipment. The amount of the deposit is agreed with the customer prior to the rental. Payment of the agreed deposit takes place on the basis of the concluded contract or order placed and accepted by Ramirent, to a bank account or to the Ramirent cash desk and is a condition for the release of the equipment. In certain cases, the customer may be required to submit a bill of exchange. 11.
- An additional chargeable Ramicasco product applies to the rental. The fees payable are specified in the Terms and Conditions.
- In the case of steel scaffolding:
- Equipment is hired in two ways:
- with assembly/disassembly service ,
- without assembly/disassembly service. In this case, the Hirer provides the scaffolding service.
- Calculation of rent:
- the rental without assembly/disassembly service starts from the day the equipment is released from the warehouse,
- the lease with assembly/disassembly service shall commence from the date specified in the contract/order.
- The rented equipment has the legally required documents allowing it to be used.
- Employees and subcontractors carrying out assembly/disassembly and periodic inspections have the authorisations required by the relevant legislation.
- Equipment is hired in two ways:
- In the case of passenger and goods lifts:
- We only rent equipment with assembly and dismantling services performed by authorised RAMIRENT employees or subcontractors.
- Rental accrual shall commence on the date of acceptance of the assembled equipment by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT).
- All equipment is provided with the documents required by law authorising its use.
- Employees and subcontractors performing assembly/disassembly and maintenance have the relevant and legally required qualifications.
- The lessor is obliged to provide appropriately trained and authorised personnel for the operation of the rented equipment. By individual agreement, the Ramirent shall provide the possibility of renting cranes with operator services.
- In the case of other equipment, the rent is calculated from the date of its official handover to the date of its official return. All equipment has the relevant certificates and approvals for use required by Polish law. In the case of equipment requiring such certificates, the Lessee is obliged to provide operators with the necessary authorisations to operate the leased equipment.
- All machines and equipment rented from Ramirent should be duly protected against theft and damage by the Customer and operated and used in accordance with their DTR.
- Documents required for the first rental:
General partnerships, limited partnerships, limited joint-stock partnerships, limited liability companies, joint-stock partnerships:
- All documents will be collected by an employee of Ramirent (registration documents: KRS, REGON)
Budgetary/ local government units:
- All documents will be collected by an employee of Ramirent
- The order and the authorization to collect the equipment should be signed by the head of the budget/ local government unit or other person(s) formally authorized to represent the entity.
Sole traders, civil partnerships:
- Identity card of the owner/co-owner
- For civil partnership, original of current civil partnership agreement to be inspected
- All documents will be collected by an employee of Ramirent (registration documents: REGON, extract from CEIDG (all partners)
ATTENTION: The first rental can only be made personally by the owner/co-owners of the civil partnership. Authorisation of other persons to carry out further operations takes place only in person before a Ramirent Branch Employee. An exception to this is if another person presents the Ramirent Employee with an original notarised power of attorney authorising him/her to represent him/her in making the rental.
Natural persons (it is possible to rent a machine up to a value of PLN 100,000)
- A document with a photograph to prove PESEL (identity card).
Foreign entities:
- Registration documents- entry in the register/registry and a document confirming the assignment of a tax number. Signing of lease documents is possible in accordance with the provisions on representation in the registration documents.
Basic principles of lift hire at Ramirent construction equipment rental companies:
- Equipment is rented by the day - prices presented in the price list are daily rates.
- The daily rate depends on the rental time - the longer the rental time, the lower the daily rate.
- All equipment has valid UDT tests and other documents required by law, allowing the equipment to be used.
- The lessor is obliged to provide appropriately trained and authorised personnel to operate the rented equipment.
- Prices may be negotiated.

- Detailed terms and conditions are regulated by the rental agreement.
The rental offer includes additional services: technical advice, transport of equipment to the construction site, servicing and operator training.
Individual insurance of the equipment, together with the charges due, is compulsory for hire under the terms of the Regulations.
Ramirent may charge a deposit as security for the rental transaction and the value of the equipment. The amount of the deposit is agreed with the Client prior to the rental. Payment of the agreed deposit takes place on the basis of the concluded agreement or an order placed and accepted by Ramirent, to a bank account or to Ramirent's cash desk and is a condition for the release of the equipment. In certain cases, the Customer may be required to submit a promissory note.

Budgetary units:

Sole traders, civil partnerships:
- Identity card of the owner/co-owner
- Additionally, for equipment above PLN 20,000: Social Security certificate or statement on the payment of social security contributions (commitment to submit the certificate within 7 working days)
- Civil partnership agreement
- All documents will be collected by Ramirent's employee (registration documents: REGON, extract from the register of economic activity of all partners)
NOTES:
First rental by owner only.
Individuals (it is possible to hire a machine up to 100,000 PLN):
- Photo document confirming PESEL
- A second document with a photograph proving identity or a credit card can be requested.
NOTES:
Hire in person only.
Foreign entities:
Registration documents - entry in the register/registry and a document confirming the assignment of a tax number. Rental documents may be signed in accordance with the provisions on representation in the registration documents.
Basic rules for the rental of containers, accessories and fencing at Ramirent construction equipment rental companies:
- Equipment is rented for months.
- Prices can be negotiated.
- Additional equipment can be hired, such as tables, chairs, desks, air-conditioning units and various types of lockers (wardrobe, file, health and safety cabinets).

- Detailed terms and conditions are regulated by the rental agreement.
- The rental offer includes additional services: technical consultancy, transport of equipment to the construction site, servicing, assembly and disassembly.
- The rental is subject to individual insurance of the equipment along with due charges according to the rules specified in the Regulations.
- Ramirent may charge a deposit as security for the rental transaction and the value of the equipment. The amount of the deposit shall be agreed with the Client prior to the rental. Payment of the agreed deposit takes place on the basis of the concluded agreement or an order placed and accepted by Ramirent, to a bank account or to Ramirent's cash desk and is a condition for the release of the equipment. In certain cases, the Customer may be required to submit a promissory note.
Documents needed for the first rental:
General partnerships, limited partnerships, limited joint-stock partnerships, limited liability companies, joint-stock partnerships:
- All documents will be collected by an employee of Ramirent (registration documents: KRS, REGON)
Budgetary/municipal entities:
- All documents will be collected by Ramirent employee
- The order and the authorization to collect the equipment should be signed by the head of the budget unit/ local government or other person(s) formally authorized to represent the entity.
Sole traders, civil partnerships:
- Identity card of the owner/co-owner
- For a civil partnership, the original of the current civil partnership agreement for inspection
- All documents will be collected by an employee of Ramirent (registration documents: REGON, extract from CEIDG (all partners)
NOTE: The first rental can only be made in person by the owner/co-owners of the partnership. Authorisation of other persons to carry out further actions shall only take place in person before a Ramirent Branch Employee. Basic principles of equipment hire at Ramirent rental companies (scaffolding):
- The equipment is rented on a monthly basis - the rental prices presented in the offers and on the website are daily rates. It is possible to apply another form of settlement, e.g. a lump sum.
- Each offer is prepared individually, based on the customer's expectations.
- Prices may be negotiated.
- Equipment is rented in two ways:
- with assembly/disassembly service
- without assembly/disassembly service (in this case, the hirer provides the scaffolding service)
- Rental calculation:
- in the case of rental without an assembly/disassembly service, it starts from the day the equipment is released from the warehouse
- in case of rental with assembly/disassembly service, it starts from the day of handing over the scaffolding for exploitation with a Technical Acceptance Protocol.
- The rented equipment has the documents required by law allowing it to be used
- All employees and subcontractors have the required authorisations for assembly.
- Detailed conditions are regulated in the rental contract.

RAMIRENT may charge a deposit as security for the equipment. The deposit is paid by the Customer on the basis of the contract concluded or the order placed and accepted by RAMIRENT, to a bank account or to RAMIRENT's cash register and is a condition for the release of the equipment.
