EME Aero Jesionka
Challenge
EME Aero is a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and MTU Aero Engines. The new facility will overhaul geared turbofan engines used on Lufthansa and other airlines aircraft.
The value of the investment is about 700 million zlotys.
WARBUD was the general contractor for the project.
Ramirent has worked with more than a dozen subcontractors: Pekabex, Electra M&E, Elektromontaż Rzeszów, Promus Katowice, Indeco, LTEC Piaseczno, Gureco, Antex and many others.
Solution
We supplied a range of equipment to the construction site, including: telehandlers telescopic handlers, lifts (from the smallest, to those measuring 43m), light equipment, ladders, road rollers, crimping machines and much more. We also provided customers with additional services, such as refueling of our machines.
Ramirent equipment was rented at every stage of the project: worked on the construction of access roads, erection of prefabricated structures, installation of walls, roof and all kinds of installations. The 43m lifts were used to test the noise level at the top of the dynamometer towers.
The scale of the investment was truly impressive. In order to cope with it, during periods of peak work Ramirent provided dozens of lifts simultaneously.
